You don’t have to do it alone.

JOY SCOUT CLUB

Maybe you don’t need more advice. Maybe you just need people to figure it out with.

Joy Scout Club is the community at the center of Joy Scout Project — a place to stay connected, share what you’re discovering, and have some good humans in your corner along the way.

Once you participate in one of our programs or experiences, you’re in.

The Club lives in its own private space you can visit from your phone or computer. Doors open November 1.

There’s always a place to come back to.

The in-between can be a weird place to navigate alone. You're changing, trying things, seeing what fits now — and most of the time, there isn’t a neat answer or finish line.

Think of Joy Scout Club as the campfire in the middle of all of it. A place to find people who are finding their way too. Share what’s happening. Ask the question. Celebrate something good. Admit you have no idea what you’re doing. Or just sit and listen.

No expectations. No need to have answers. Just people to be in it with.

You don’t have to show up all the time to belong.

The fire will still be here.

Joy Scout Club is the place we come back to between programs, field assignments, adventures, and whatever else is happening in our actual lives.

Show up however you want

There’s something powerful about keeping track of your own becoming — and having other people there to witness it. Especially when they’re navigating their own in-between, too.

SHARE

Bring back what you’re noticing, trying, learning, questioning, or becoming. Share the tiny win, the thing that surprised you, the experiment that flopped, or the question you’re still sitting with. You never know what might spark something for someone else.

BE WITNESSED

Follow along with other people’s experiments, wins, setbacks, and discoveries — and let them witness yours. Sometimes it helps just to say the thing out loud to people who understand where you’ve been without requiring you to stay there.

GET ACCOUNTABLE

Every week, the Club has a shared Accountability Hour. Bring whatever you’re working on — your Field Assignment, your Next 100 Days goal, the thing you keep putting off, or just something you want to make time for.

JUST BE HERE

Read. Listen. Lurk. You don’t have to share to belong. Some seasons you’ll have a lot to say. Others, you might just need to know there are other humans out there figuring things out there doing this too.

  • “Joy Scout Club has been my anchor. I didn’t just find friends and understanding. I found context and was able to see my grief from different perspectives. I could slowly start clearing the fog I’d been in for so long. I felt at home.”

  • “Thank you, Dana, for creating this space and for keeping it so alive. You are a reflection of the woman I aspire to continue becoming. A woman who stays honest with herself in her own grief, who welcomes all the nuances and dualities. A woman who, while staying whole and deeply in tune with her values, (re)builds herself a meaningful and fulfilling life, one heartbreak and one joyful moment at a time.”

  • “The thing I needed most after my wife died at age 35 was to be seen and understood by people who ‘get it.’ The Club has been a safe place to relate and connect with others, share writing, and learn about different topics that are now part of my life.”

  • “Dana has created a beautiful community that offers so many ways of dealing with grief and what follows. Her desire to help is heartwarming and honest, sprung from her own experiences, which she vulnerably shares.”

  • “Thank you, Dana, from the bottom of my heart, for providing this platform, this safe place to share both the uncomfortable emotions and the joyful progress.”

Choose your starting point

Every Joy Scout program or experience gives you access to the Club. You’ll share the same wider community and weekly Accountability Hour, with some programs also having private spaces for the people going through them together.

JOY SCOUTING

A weekly practice for noticing more of the joy that's already here. Club access for as long as you're a member.

THE NEXT 100 DAYS

A live 100-day challenge to get honest about what matters now, and do something about it. Club access for the full 100 days, plus a private space for your cohort.

FIELD GUIDE TO BECOMING

A year-long live experience for exploring who you've been, who you are now, and who you might become. A full year of Club access, your private Becoming cohort, and access to Joy Scouting.
