Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to feel good about what you sign up for, so here's exactly how refunds and cancellations work for each Joy Scout Project program. If you have questions before you buy, email us at dana@joyscoutproject.com. We're happy to help you figure out if something's a good fit.

The Next 100 Days Challenge

All sales are final. Because the Next 100 Days is a live, time-bound challenge with a set start date and cohort, we don't offer refunds once you've registered.

Joy Scouting

Monthly membership: Your membership renews automatically each month at the rate you signed up with, until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your Joy Scout Club account, and you'll still have access until the end of your billing cycle. We don't offer refunds for partial months.

Annual membership: Your membership renews automatically each year at the rate you signed up with, unless you cancel before your renewal date. You'll receive a reminder email before your membership renews. If you cancel, you'll still have access until the end of your billing cycle. Annual memberships, including renewals, are non-refundable. If you'd like to try Joy Scouting before committing to a year, we recommend starting with a monthly membership.

Your rate is locked in for as long as your membership stays active. If you cancel and rejoin later, you'll join at the current rate.

Field Guide to Becoming

Before the program begins: You can request a full refund up to 14 days before the program's start date.

After that: Refunds aren't available. If you can't continue, you can request a one-time credit for the amount you've paid to use towards another Joy Scout Project program or experience. Credits must be used within 12 months of being issued.

Payment plans: If you're on a payment plan, leaving the program doesn't cancel your remaining payments.

Joy Scout Camp

Refund, cancellation, and deposit policies for Camp will be shared at registration.

Exceptions

We may make exceptions to this policy at our discretion.
